This is a hand built pottery basket, woven from clay strips; fired to 2000’ degrees, making it dishwasher,microwave, and oven safe at any temperature. It is the perfect bowl to either warm or bake your bread or rolls in, as the bowl will retain the heat at the table. If you would like to bake bread in the bowl, just give it a thin coat of cooking spray, then let the dough rise and fill the bowl. Bake it as normal, you may need to adjust time or temperature a bit, as the air circulating will brown all around.
It also makes a lovely centerpiece for your table when not using it for bread. It’s pretty on its own, and also excellent as a fruit bowl. An aerated fruit bowl will extend the life of your fruit and veggies. This pretty bowl would make a useful gift for anyone as well. I do enclose guidelines for using the bowl with each purchase.
